About the CGTA

The Canadian Gift & Tableware Association (CGTA) is a national not-for-profit association for giftware wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, importers and exporters. The association provides its 1,600 plus member companies the expertise, information and resources needed to succeed in an increasingly challenging marketplace.

The CGTA offers a portfolio of services aimed at increasing members’ competitive advantage by reducing the costs of doing business through discounts on freight, long-distance, banking services and group insurance programs. The Export Ready Designation program assists members in exporting, primarily to the United States. Other services include the Credit Interchange System (CIS), which provides members with a fast, inexpensive medium to check credit reports. The association distributes numerous publications to the membership, which highlight important industry and association initiatives such as the monthly member newsletter Wrap-Up and the bi-annual MarketPulse and Market Monitor Publications.
