As part of our quality team, you will participate in all aspects of the quality lifecycle, from fact finding and design sessions all the way to post implementation. You will also interact with customers to learn their quality needs and show results first-hand. Your role involves testing code at the user level, using both manual and automated techniques. Focusing on ensuring reliable, high-performance applications, you will also have a hand in creating a user experience that is engaging and elegant.

You must have some understanding of software internals and be able to assist in debugging issues utilizing log files. You should have experience in automating repetitive tasks and tests with scripting tools or test automation tools. You must have a keen eye for details, enjoy responsibility, strive for the highest standards in quality, and get satisfaction in knowing that the applications you verify are above and beyond the customer’s expectations.

Required Skills

• Passion for software quality that yields high performing, reliable, and usable applications
• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience
• Excellent grasp of QA methodologies and strategies and experience in implementing them at all stages of application development
• Expertise in using various QA tools for recording test scenarios and cases and proficiency in generating reports and metrics
• Knowledge of relational databases like SQL and in using these tools to create and maintain test data suites
• Excellent teamwork skills, demonstrable personal flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to work well with people and be both highly self-motivated as well as motivating to others
• Strong and unambiguous verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in applying automation and in employing load testing
• Experience in creating and maintaining quality plans that have been employed to successfully deliver high quality applications to customers
• Ability to author technical documents
• Lots of great ideas on how to improve quality that you can share with others
